Our Impact

Since the organization’s founding in 2012, 68 high school students have graduated from high school while working with College AppAssist. Students enrolled in the program have successfully achieved a 100% graduation rate and 98% college matriculation rate. This compares to an average graduation rate of 61% and matriculation rate of 73% amongst the high schools with active CAA participation.

College AppAssist graduates in classes 2014 – 2017 have received more than 115 university acceptances, >$550,000 of need and merit-based scholarships.

School acceptances include: UMASS (Boston, Amherst, Dartmouth, Lowell), Tufts, Clark, Wentworth, Emmanuel, Simmons, St. Louis University, Suffolk, Northeastern, Union, University of Maine and Bryant University.

Prestigious full-ride scholarships earned by CAA graduates include: the Posse Scholarship, Torch Scholarship, City of Boston Scholarship and the Stephan Phillips Memorial Scholarship.
